Royston sadly passed away at age 98 in the days following Tim’s death. Although Tim was extremely thankful that his sister Jocelyn was in Mississauga to care for Royston every day, Tim always wanted to do more to help, taking Royston to California for a month in 2006, and missing extended periods of work in the following years to assist Jocelyn in caring for their father. Although Tim’s mother sadly passed away from cancer in 1996, Tim never lost an opportunity to care for his elderly father, Royston. Tim married Cheryl Webber in 2009, and Tim became close to her four sons, Denver, Matthew, Kurt, and Joel, and their partners and children. Tim and Margaret welcomed their youngest two daughters, Hilary and Melanie, in 19 (respectively). Returning to Calgary, Tim worked for a number of different companies, finding continued success as a chemical engineer. Tim’s career brought the family to Fort McMurray where he and Margaret welcomed their second daughter, Emily, in 1984. In 1981, Tim and Margaret welcomed the first of their four daughters, Jill. As a novice engineer, Tim loved to wear bow ties to work, a memory we hope his colleagues share. ![]() in Engineering in 1980, Tim relocated to Calgary, Alberta with his wife Margaret Webber, and began his career. ![]() This experience cemented Tim’s desire to work as an engineer in Alberta’s oil patch – a decision that would set the course of his life.
